To complete this course, learners must pass the IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors personal commitment assignment and get it assessed by their tutor. The cost of the assessment is already included in the cost of the course.

Learners download the personal commitment template from our system and use it to document three distinct commitments based on lessons learnt during the course.

Each commitment must state an outcome goal, a performance goal and a process goal.

Once complete, the template is emailed to your tutor for marking.
Feedback is provided by the tutor if the submitted work does not attract sufficient marks to be awarded a pass.

Receiving login details

Accessing the course

The course materials will work on any internet enabled device running an up to date internet browser. Each student will have 90 days from the date of enrolment to log on and complete their course. The course does not need to be completed in one sitting. Students can log out and return any time up until the course is completed or until the 90 day access expires.

IOSH Safely for Executives and Directors course certificate

Students are awarded a genuine IOSH Safely for Executives and Directors certificate on successful completion of the personal commitment statement. The certificate is issued by IOSH and you can choose to have it in ‘Digital’ or ‘Paper + Digital’ formats. Simply select when purchasing if you want ‘Digital’ or ‘Paper + Digital’.

Once the course is completed, students are provided with a login to the IOSH student portal, where they can download and distribute digital copies of their certificate. If you purchase ‘Paper + Digital’, then the paper certificate will be posted to the student by first class, signed for delivery, as soon as we receive it from IOSH.

Course expiry

Student’s access to the course will expire on completion of the course or after the 90 days from enrolment (whichever is sooner).

Yes, the secure learner platform is available to use on a multitude of devices, allowing you to present your certificate on a mobile device or tablet as well as a laptop. 

Using your secure account on the IOSH learner platform, you can access a ‘connection’ feature which allows you to enter the recipient’s details and a link expiry date, at which point an email will be sent to the recipient for them to begin the process of accessing the copy certificate. Alternatively, you can present a QR code which can be found on the certificate itself, again linking the recipient to the certificate on the secure IOSH site. 

Yes, the certificates have been designed to ensure they look as similar as possible to the hard copy versions. The only differences will be in the security features of the digital copies.
